The Raceday Stewards fined W.T. Farrell, trainer €65 for failing to fit the declared Sheepskin Cheekpieces to S'all Good Man prior to entering the parade ring
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Queen Of Seduction, ridden by S.T. McCullagh, Votre Homme, ridden by O. Enright, Lygon Street (GER), ridden by J. Coen, and Skyquake, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh where it appeared Skyquake ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. Stone-Walsh and J. Coen gave their evidence in the presence of Mr. K. O'Connor. S.T
McCullagh stated that his mount was off the bridle in the straight, ran around a little and changed leads as she found the ground too quick. O. Enright stated that his mount ran around a little up the straight. J. Coen stated that his mount was having only his fourth run and was still quite green but didn't cause any interference. C. Stone- Walsh stated that his mount was green and as his run was ending he got pressure from his left inside the final furlong. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted that S.T. McCullagh's mount was a difficult ride and took no further action
C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Skyquake, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he checked off heels inside the final furlong
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from A.J.Martin, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Tudor City, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that the horse's run the last day was its first run back after a break but that the horse had thrived since then. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.
