Early on last year we thought she was one of our best fillies but the next thing she grew and grew. It's great and she did that nicely. The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the two furlong pole involving Roaring Gallagher (FR), ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, Moonlit Mist, ridden by G.F. Carroll, Free Flow (USA), ridden by G.M. Ryan, and Slieve Binnian, ridden by R.P. Whelan where it appeared that an incident had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.M. Ryan stated that he felt he kept his racing line. G.F. Carroll stated that he marginally shifted off his racing line but did not cause interference. R.P. Whelan stated that he was full of running and went for a gap that was there for him and did not cause interference. C. Stone-Walsh stated that a gap started to close and he continued to ride for it as he thought it might widen. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found that C. Stone-Walsh was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record they suspended him for three racedays.
