Curragh Sun, 29th Sep, 2024  Belfrina It wasn't unexpected. You're never quite sure coming to the Curragh - it's obviously hot, but we've always liked her. We were annoyed with her break on debut. She's a lovely filly and she's got a future. On pedigree and the way she handled her debut, I'd say we might go again when it rains. She'll handle softer ground fine. We tried to run her a couple of times, but we just wanted a bit of ease. It's nice after a year off that we're doing something right.

Galway Thu, 1st Aug, 2024  Nurburgring When he ran well in Punchestown, we decided this was a good mid-summer target. He had a little holiday and then had a nice run over a shortish trip on the flat at Leopardstown to blow the cobwebs away. He came here with the four-year-olds allowance and really it was a fantastic ride from JJ. He got a good start, a lovely position and made a lovely move at the top of the hill. It was a very impressive performance. He was a fresh horse today and was dropping from a Grade 1 into a handicap, which is always a help. Today was the target so we won't rush him back but he will be going back into graded races somewhere.

Kilbeggan Fri, 26th Jul, 2024  Grann's Boy He wants slow ground and just got away with that I'd say. He's not a bad sort of a horse. He was third in Tramore and was entitled to be there. He's an honest horse, he's a fine big horse and will jump a fence in time and he might win a race on the flat again for us. They are good owners, they are with me a long time and they've been lucky for me. If the ground changed in Galway he might end up there. I have him in two of three Flat races and wouldn't mind running him over two miles if I got soft ground.

Navan Sat, 8th Jun, 2024  Mo Ghille Mar Shane said she wasn't doing a whole lot in front. It didn't work out, we wanted to follow but there was no pace and she was just left there but she's won now which is great,. There were a lot of horses in there with form. It's great for them having had the disappointment the last day. She'll go up to a mile-and-a-half now I think.

Limerick Thu, 23rd May, 2024  Reverend Hubert He had schooled very well, and the distance and the ground were a big thing for him. He is a fine horse and will keep going for the summer. He is better off jumping and likes to have fences in front of him. We'll look to Galway.
