The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident about one furlong from the finish involving General Idea (GB), ridden by K.S. McHugh, where it appeared that the rider checked his mount. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, A.J. Slattery, rider of Benerville, trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green, got unbalanced in running but ran on well in the straight
S. Foley, rider of Princess Rajj, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled inside the final furlong.
