Dundalk Fri, 17th Jan, 2025  Mehman It was great to see him back winning up here.  . Declan said he broke lovely and he got a nice tow into the straight and then went on and asserted. . He loved it, he was very relaxed beforehand. We left the tongue-tie off because it was only aggravating him when we were putting it on. Chris Hayes rode him last time and he said to take everything off and take the blinkers off as well. He was much more relaxed today. . Just delighted to get a winner with Declan. He was just telling me that he rode a winner for my dad 30 years ago. That is his first winner for me and I've been trying over the years because he is one of the best jockeys of the last 25 years. It is a pleasure to have him. He is very decisive and very strong. He used to be a five-furlong horse, but he has lost the edge there. He got a beautiful tow in from the speed horses and just went on-probably won a bit too easy, actually. There will be consequences down the line, but it is great to have it. . There is a seven coming up, I think, in two or three weeks' time. If not, we will find something similar for him.

Tipperary Sun, 6th Oct, 2024  Power Under Me The trainer was telling me it was trainer error the last day, but it wasn’t as the ground was beautiful on Champions Weekend and he’s just told us that we’ll only run him again on slower than good. . He is ground dependent and soft is his ideal ground. He absolutely owes us nothing and has been a great servant for Vincent and Geraldine (Gaul) who are great supporters of ours. . We had him in at Cork the other day, but the ground was just on the yielding side of good and with this coming up, we weren’t going to chance that. . Himself and Mutasarref are two of the stalwarts of the yard and they could meet in the Knockaire at Leopardstown (on October 20). 

Curragh Sun, 29th Sep, 2024  Montpellier Green It was a nice run. It took us a bit of time to get him figured out. The bit of juice in the ground helped him today and he won nicely, he was tough. He's had the headgear on and off and we tried cheekpieces as well, but we stuck to the blinkers today and he showed a good attitude. The second horse ran well, he had run well in Galway as well. He snuck into the race well and came home nicely. Dec (McDonogh) said he was green under pressure and ran around a good bit. He's going the right way.

Naas Thu, 19th Sep, 2024  Tommy McJohn Winning trainer Michael O'Callaghan: .Dylan said that he got quite unbalanced at one point and he was glad to have the rail. He said he was going away again at the line but he said he wouldn't rush to step up to six furlongs,. He thinks a good stiff five is his trip and he would appreciate a little bit more of an ease, as he changed his legs plenty and felt it a little bit. The top-weight in a nursery are usually the best horse in the race at this time of year. He's a small little horse and did well to carry that weight. Dylan was very good on him.
