An enquiry was held to consider interference 4 furlongs out involving Dubai Poet (GB), placed third, ridden by Andrea Atzeni, Dubawi Legend (IRE), unplaced, ridden by James Doyle, Star Girls Aalmal (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by W J Lee and Tacarib Bay (GB), unplaced, ridden by Sean Levey.
Atzeni was suspended for 5 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left when insufficiently clear of Dubawi Legend (IRE), who became short for room and clipped heels as a result, causing knock on interference to Star Girls Aalmal (IRE), resulting in Levey having to steady his mount and switch right.
Following the race, David Egan reported that Find (GB), placed second, jumped awkwardly from the stalls.
