Dundalk Wed, 1st Nov, 2023  Take Me To Church I'd say he is more of a turf horse now, being honest, than an all-weather horse but it is nice to see he can handle that sort of surface. Going forward, it gives us more options. He's still a touch babyish. He's genuine but being by Churchill you wouldn't expect him to be an early-season type. He has just been learning a lot as he has been going on. The last day at Naas he came forward a lot for the application of headgear (cheekpieces) - it is just to help him to figure it out quicker. We had to make the running today, so the cheekpieces were no harm. He's very genuine, you can see when Ronan went for him he dropped his head to the ground and tried really hard.

Curragh Sat, 7th Oct, 2023  Letherfly She’s a lovely filly,. I was trying to get her to jump out of stalls a bit quicker yesterday but by the time we were finished I thought we have blown this completely because she had nearly gone the other way. It was very much a learning process but it’s great that she’s won. She’s a big filly and can only improve. . She’s by a good sire and has been doing things well but is big and backward and needs time. I’d say she should get seven (furlongs) or a mile. 

Bellewstown Thu, 28th Sep, 2023  Sneddy Eddie He loves soft ground and at times it was hard to get it. That type of track suits him as well as he's a handy horse,. He won in Sligo and over six there you are climbing for five. It's not a normal six and you'd want to stay further there. We thought he would win over a mile-and-one early in the year and he just paddled the last 100 yards so this is probably his ideal trip. Ground is essential though. He got a fright in the parade ring before (unseated Whelan) and he would be a wee bit fractious. He got a bit upset in the stalls one day as well and he would be a wee bit wired.

Leopardstown Thu, 27th Jul, 2023  Juxtaposition He's a nice horse, I thought he might be a little bit green tonight but to be fair to him when he got the chance he battled,. His work at home had been good and he was just ready to run, I'm impressed the way he battled when he got the chance. I think he has a good future. He was bought by Kevin Connolly and his family with the Goffs Millons in mind. He qualifies for that and there are a million reasons to run him in it!. John (Connolly) said the last time these colours were worn was Mr Brooks so it was a while ago. He'll stay a mile-and-a-quarter or a mile-and-a-half so we won't be in a rush.

Killarney Mon, 17th Jul, 2023  Voice Of Reason Martin White (owner/breeder) is a Limerick man so it's great that he's after winning here for him. He bred him as well and we're delighted with that. We're delighted for the horse. We were a bit shocked that he was favourite in Roscommon because there was a horse rated 103 in it. He shouldn't have been favourite, everyone was disappointed bar ourselves because we knew he'd come on from it. We were a bit worried about the ground, that it was better than yielding when we walked it, but the rain just came in time. Colin was delighted with him and he'll get further. Mentally he was an awful lot better today. Colin was brilliant on him but he dug it out as well. It's onwards and upwards, I think mentally and physically he'll improve and improve to better things.
