It’s only his second run in a handicap but he came from a good school. Derek O’Connor schooled him in his point to point, so I didn’t have to do too much schooling. B. Hayes, rider of Brahma Bull trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel in running. This was subsequently confirmed by the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer

An extended handicap steeplechase for five years old and upwards that have run at least three times in steeplechases up to and including 16th January 2022 Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 11st 12lbs and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbs Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase or steeplechases after calculation of the handicap shall carry any penalty or penalties which may be allotted by the Handicapper.
