He improved a lot from his win the last day. We gave him a school during the week and he’s just an awful lot sharper. This is his first run in a handicap and he’s done it well. Derek knows him inside out,. We’ve no plan where we go next. We’ll see how he is in the next day or two and make a plan then. He jumped a lot better than the last day, and a bit of softer ground is what he needs.

I was a slight bit concerned about the ground this morning but we said we'd chance it,. He ran well his first few times over fences and today was the plan to win a beginners' and we'll make a plan in a week or two and see how he comes out of it tomorrow. It's great to get his head in front and Derek said there was plenty left at the last (when Arvico Bleu fell). Derek knows him inside out and comes in to ride out once or twice a week.

he won impressively and the track and ground suited and Rachael knows him inside out. We have him entered for a 2m4f conditions hurdle at Punchestown on Sunday and we'll see how he comes out of this. Rachael is in top form and is a brilliant girl.

I’m absolutely thrilled with that. It’s his first run for me, and he’s been a pure machine at home over hurdles. He got in a bit close to a couple today but he’ll learn from that and Rachael gave him a great ride.
