The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approximately three furlongs from the start involving Goldana, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed sixth, and Purple Lily, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, where it appeared these horses bumped. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
D. McMonagle, rider of American Sonja (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped a heel after a furlong. Having viewed the recording and considered the report the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
