Naas Sun, 19th May, 2024  Plume Noire Off a strong tempo I was able to get the gaps and she quickened up well. She pricked her ears in front and had a blow so there should be plenty of improvement. She was changing her legs a lot and I think she would rather a little ease. She’d have no problem coming back to seven either. Seven furlongs or a mile with a bit of ease in the ground is her thing.

Gowran Park Wed, 24th Apr, 2024  Rumi All credit to Ger Kelly in Fethard. I thought he’d broken his neck when he fell in Ballinrobe, but it turned out he’d broken his shoulder. . He operated on him and took out a piece of bone that was bigger than a golf ball. We just gave him time and it’s incredible to get him back like that. . He was impressive the first day he ran over hurdles in Listowel and then I was a little bit disappointed with him. He only ran once more over hurdles but I think he’s a better horse now.
