An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong after the start involving Rhythmic Intent (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Kieran Shoemark and Skycutter (FR), placed fourth, ridden by John Egan.
Egan was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift left-handed when insufficiently clear causing minor interference to Rhythmic Intent (IRE).
Robert Havlin, the rider of First Light (GB), unplaced, and Callum Rodriguez, the rider of Alright Sunshine (IRE), unplaced, were also interviewed but found not to be involved in the interference.
An enquiry was held to consider interference after rounding the first bend involving the winner, Farhan (IRE), ridden by Hollie Doyle and Sam Cooke (IRE), placed third, ridden by Rob Hornby.
Doyle was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she edged left-handed when insufficiently clear tightening Sam Cooke (IRE) for room and forcing Hornby to lose his pitch inside her.
It was noted a short distance later Sam Cooke (IRE) then stumbled after becoming unbalanced due to pressure from its inside in a tightly packed field.
Following the race, Silvestre De Sousa reported that FLYIN’ SOLO, unplaced, hung right; David Probert reported that Cardano (USA), unplaced, was slowly away; Ian Williams reported that East Asia (IRE), unplaced, was unsuited by the going, which was officially described as Soft, and which in his opinion was particularly testing on this occasion and Robert Havlin reported that First Light (GB), unplaced, ran flat and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the colt during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
