Tramore Fri, 18th Aug, 2023  Inchiquin Star We focus mostly on point-to-pointers but we have a handful for the track. This is my first winner at Tramore and it's nice to get one at my local track. . She was probably unlucky the last day when she made a bad mistake at the third last. I felt like it cost her, it knocked the wind out of her at the wrong time. She had a couple of nice runs and was unlucky at Tipperary where she ran into a good horse. Hopefully she will pick up another one. . She is not very big and I was worried about the ground when they changed it to soft. Coming here I was fairly confident but when the ground changed it was putting me off a bit. She is gutsy though. She is owned by Sean Harnedy, his son Seamus plays senior hurling for Cork. Sean is a great supporter of the yard. He had horse (Rose Mahler) last year who was placed a few times before she was killed at Wexford. That's the joys of it.

Tipperary Thu, 6th Jul, 2023  Crooked Tannie we've always thought a lot of him but things didn't work out great the first two runs. Patrick kept it simple today and he did it very easily. He is a big raw four-year-old and I'd say he'll grow into a nice horse next year. He is learning his job the whole time, I never really rushed him and Patrick was very happy with him and thinks he will develop into a nice horse. We're not sure what to do with him now but he might have a break and go over hurdles.

Kilbeggan Sun, 4th Jun, 2023  Flidais This is one for a proper novice hurdle,. She is a real nice filly and shows me plenty of class at home. Her mother won 12 times. She’ll stay four miles and her dam won over any kind of trip. She’s a lovely quick jumper and Liam Quinlan gave her a lovely ride.
