FormscanBy Michael Graham - This trip really seems to suit ORIOLE. She was successful over it in Leicester and Naas for previous connections and made a bright start to life with Natalia Lupini when a close fourth in the Ulster Oaks at Down Royal. Squire Danagher has two Dundalk victories to call upon and is the highest-rated horse in the field. It'sonlyjustbegun was a never nearer fourth in a good handicap at Roscommon and Keithen Kennedy is value for his claim in these apprentice races. Razdan is capable of a big run especially after winning over flights at Downpatrick in April. Blue Soul is up in trip after delivering in Tipperary, while Explorers Way showed his fortitude in Down Royal and could be progressive.

Quotes on Squire Danagher (GB)
After the last race, we took the opportunity to geld him. He actually took it quite well, so he didn't miss much. We came here with an idea of a campaign on grass. Nice to get it done and we will look forward to the main campaign now. He's a very relaxed horse, but then sometimes we wonder would he be too relaxed. Around the back there was no distress signals and then, when it opened up, he just came and picked up. It was very simply done, and Billy knows the horse. Lovely ride and just produced him well. He got there early enough and was just doing enough. That's not a bad attribute in a racehorse, as long as when they do get to the front they still stay there! After Squire Danagher (GB) finished 1st at Dundalk on Fri, 22nd Mar 2024 1m 4f Flat Hcap Standard

Quotes on Razdan (IRE)
Kieren is a very good rider (substituted for Keith Donoghue), he has ridden a couple for us before and has got a great pair of hands. He's said he'd rather take a chance than go round them and forfeit ground. He has a gear so, if there was half a gap, he was going to take it.After Razdan (IRE) finished 1st at Downpatrick on Fri, 26th Apr 2024 2m 2f Maiden Hurdle Good

Quotes on Tea Olive (FR)
I thought she would win but I didn’t think it would be that close. I’d say she needed the run in Navan and she was 10lb better off today. In fairness to the other horse he’s run well again. I think she’s a nice filly and hopefully she will go on and win again. She will go for something similar and maybe over a bit further. After Tea Olive (FR) finished 1st at Gowran Park on Wed, 19th Apr 2023 1m Flat Hcap Yielding

Quotes on Red Trail (IRE)
At the furlong pole I thought we had no chance, passing the line I thought we were up, but then when they showed the slow-mo, I didn't. She's a lovely filly. She won two last year and it looked like she'd come on for that but we went hurdling, and she ran very well one day but the last couple of runs were a bit below par. Coming today she looked great and seemed to be in great form, she seemed back to herself. What the difference was I'm not really sure. I thought we had a chance coming and told the owner we were in trouble if we didn't run well today, luckily she did. She's a good, tough mare, I'll have a chat with the owner now and see. Hopefully, there will be another day with her on the Flat and she'll go back hurdling at some stage. After Red Trail (IRE) finished 1st at Gowran Park on Sat, 29th Jul 2023 1m 1f Flat Hcap Soft

Quotes on Explorers Way (IRE)
The form of his last run (third in Navan) has been franked. He's a grand horse and it just took us a while to get to know him. He likes to be fresh and well on the day of the race, but he gets 1m2f well. I'm sorry for Jack Kearney that he couldn't do, he has just got a little heavy and the weight was too light for him. James is a very able replacement, he is very good. I've admired James for a long time and that is his first winner for me. I haven't been able to get him some of the times I wanted him. Jack was our go to all the time but, unfortunately, Jack is going to be going over jumps. We are going to have to get him a few jumpers!. I had great faith in James today and he rode a lovely race. He was in the right place the whole way and it was nice to watch. The syndicate are mainly from Sligo and they are all here. We bought the horse at the Tattersalls Online Sale back in April. That's his fourth run for us, so he is going the right way and I think he'll give them lots of fun. After Explorers Way (IRE) finished 1st at Down Royal on Sat, 22nd Jun 2024 1m 2f Flat Hcap Good

Quotes on Blue Soul (IRE)
I’m absolutely chuffed to bits for Declan Landy as that’s the first winner he’s bred himself. James was excellent on her. He knew there was going to be a good gallop, but he had a good clock in his head. He said she idled a little in front so there is still a bit left there and might improve stepped up in trip. Chris (Hayes) rode her at the Curragh and got into a fair bit of trouble but fair play he looked after her and Ger said we’ll run her back. After Blue Soul (IRE) finished 1st at Tipperary on Wed, 3rd Jul 2024 7f Flat Hcap Good to Firm
