The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at around the 100 yrd marker involving Mr Mills, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed fifth, and Florida Taiga, ridden by P.A. Harnett, placed third, where it appeared Mr Mills received a bump from Florida Taiga. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Adam Caffrey stated that he received a minor bump when he was fading. P.A. Harnett stated that his filly was running around in front as he was trying to challenge. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards they took no further action
J. Coen, rider of Lucky Queen, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a false step coming down the hill and was eased to the finishing line
H.J. Horgan, rider of Numidia, trained by Peter Lawlor, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was running very keen shortly after leaving the stalls causing him to clip a heel as a result.
