The Stewards enquired into an incident inside the first furlong involving Cache Queen, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, Lovely Is The Rose (USA), ridden by H.J. Horgan, Maewyn, ridden by S.M. Crosse, Bilboa Lane, ridden by K.K
Hennessy, Money In My Pocket, ridden by G.P. Brouder, Paddytheirishman, ridden by T.P. Madden, and Dawn Arrival, ridden by S.P. Davis, where it appeared that Dawn Arrival ran short of room on the rails causing the rider to be unseated. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental in nature caused by general bunching and they therefore took no further action
The Stewards informed Charles O'Brien, trainer, that Fake Media would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
