The winner, Global Spirit (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Redcar on 03 October 2020 where the gelding finished fourteenth of sixteen runners, beaten by 24 lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Roger Fell could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.
Global Spirit (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Andrew Mullen reported that Thrave (GB), unplaced, weakened quickly inside the final 2 furlongs; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
