The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Brook On Fifth, ridden by S.M
Crosse, Lynn Britt Cabin, ridden by C.D. Hayes and Wild Cherry, ridden by S.P. Davis, where it appeared that Lynn Britt Cabin got tight for room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S.P. Davis was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard cautioned him

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Brook On Fifth, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
An extended handicap for three years old fillies only that at entry have run two or more times under any Rules of Racing and are eligible for a handicap rating (100 = 9st 12lbs) Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 9st 12lbs and the minimum weight is 8st 6lbs Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 6lb extra for each race won.
