It was lovely to get a maiden with her, she's a filly that had good form last year at the Curragh. She finished fifth at the Curragh last time, Shane had ridden her work and was fairly confident with her. She had come on a good bit from the Curragh. You'd imagine that Curragh form was going to stand to her today as this mightn't have been the strongest of maidens. Aidan's came out and Joseph's came out so you could understand why she shortened in price. She deserved that on last year's form. She's by Gleneagles and wouldn't mind a little bit more ease in the ground. She's out of a six-time winning Exceed And Excel mare but seven furlongs to a mile would be fine. That was very good, she had come down a few pounds,. She was very free in Naas and I decided to put her asleep in the Curragh the last day. We learned a lot from her there over six, the way she came home. I said to Ronny today to put her asleep again today and ride her cold, which he did and she relaxed really well and looks a million dollars. She quickened twice, she quickened to get to them and quickened to go away from them. It was a class ride. The step up helped her, she relaxed a lot today. The Curragh can sometimes light a horse up as it's vast and open but she relaxed really well today. She might just have a future. I got a good early position and she kept going nicely up the hill. She is a really nice, honest and uncomplicated filly and it was grand to have Seamie again today as nobody else has ridden her. He gave her a lovely ride. They jumped out and went hard for the first furlong but it is now an epidemic in races where they go 500 miles in the first furlong and then jack it up until the last furlong, which is a bit annoying, but Seamie was on top of it. He rode behind Joseph's (O'Brien, with No Knee Never) and she won well. She is a half-sister to group horses in Italy, she isn't the biggest but is plenty big for the flat and is very honest and easy to train.

I thought it was a nice opportunity to start her off until I saw Ashwiyaa in it and I was a bit worried. She does everything professionally and is a lovely, straightforward filly. She has been a no-nonsense filly, loves being in training and does everything very easily. She's a good-moving filly and I think better ground suits her. She flicks over that top of the ground. I was nearly going to enter her for the race on Saturday, the five furlong Listed race up the Curragh, but I thought it could be a bit greedy or something. We will see what the lads want to do. We are in no hurry with her, she has done the job and we will see what is available. She would be for sale. She would be an ideal one for America, I'd say, the way she settled.
