FormscanBy Alan Magee - Ger Lyons and Colin Keane have teamed up to land this prize twice in the past three years and may have the answer again with CHANTEZ getting the vote. The selection had Bubbling about four lengths behind when just denied here on debut before racing prominently throughout when beating Indigo Dream by three lengths again over course and distance last month. Bubbling took a good step forward from that initial outing when scoring by five lengths at the Galway Festival and rates an obvious threat. Mojave River made a bright start when taking a valuable race for unraced fillies at Deauville last month, while Nancy J also scored on debut over this trip at Gowran.
For two years old fillies only that are EBF eligible and that have not won a Listed race or at declaration have not been placed first, second or third in a Group raceWeights - 9st 2lbs

Quotes on And So To Bed (IRE)
We've liked her all along. Although she didn't run badly in both races at the Curragh we were hoping for slightly more both times. I'd say you'll find both of those maidens will work out to be particularly hot, especially the seven furlong race the last day. I wouldn't be surprised if the first and second turned out to be Group 1 performers. With us trying to go with them it maybe cost us third. I think the six-and-a-half suited her and I think she enjoyed going around the turn. We'll probably stick to turning with her and maybe going seven rather than back to six. She looks like a filly that will be heading for black-type races. She's a nice filly for the future. After And So To Bed (IRE) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Thu, 18th Jul 2024 6f Flat Maiden Good

Quotes on Chantez (IRE)
That was nice. I loved her first run here as they quickened twice and I said that was a bit above the ordinary as a maiden. I was tempted to go to the Curragh the last day but Red Letter's form was there so we bypassed that and came back here, to the track she had handled, with a view to the Ingabelle Stakes. That is a race that has been very lucky for us. She did exactly what we thought she'd do. She shouldn't be running as she's so light and immature. She's just so not there yet. It's like Dublin buses. We had a load of horses last year and now, all of a sudden, every filly I have is a nice filly. We're just lucky and it's great. She's good and any other year she'd be your best one. I love having a second bite at a maiden. You get disappointed not winning for a minute but then you walk away and say 'lovely, another maiden, and I don't have to go to a stakes race'. Now she's had two runs and I have an Ingabelle horse, so happy days. After Chantez (IRE) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Thu, 22nd Aug 2024 7f Flat Maiden Good

Quotes on Unexpected Issues (IRE)
she's going to be an early two-year-old so I suppose we'll run maybe once more and think about something in Ascot for her. Her brother (Castle Star, currently standing at Kilkenny's Capital Stud) was a very good horse but got beaten first time out, so she's done better than him!. she was a little bit green, a little bit slow away and then ran around a bit. She should come forward for that as she's only worked once on grass so should improve. I was in the car with Seamie (Heffernan) coming up so I'll talk more in depth with him going home but if you get five (furlongs) here, you'll get six most places. We might look for a winners' race, we'll see what's there and how she comes out of it.After Unexpected Issues (IRE) finished 1st at Navan on Tue, 7th May 2024 5f Flat Maiden Yielding
