Curragh Sat, 17th Aug, 2024  Treasure Isle We're very happy with him, he's a fast horse and we learned that the last day,. 57 seconds is very unusual up here for a two-year-old race. Ryan said the Flying Childers, he said he's very quick but he will get further too. He's a hardy, fast horse.

Curragh Sat, 29th Jun, 2024  Truly Enchanting We thought she was a five/six furlong filly who would handle an ease in the ground. Ryan gave her a great ride, she was very green. Conditions suited her. She took the race in Ascot very well. She was just a bit green and babyish in the Queen Mary (unplaced). It was kind of a last-minute decision to go five with her. Because she had won at Tipperary we said we'd chance (it), but when she ran at Tipperary it was soft ground so she found it a big change on the fast ground. Ryan gave her a great ride, she's tough and hardy and we're delighted with her. He didn't go until he really had to and he kept cajoling her, he didn't want to get into a bumping match with her. He said to change the bit. She's very straightforward at home, but I suppose she was coming up there on the stands' rail by herself. She runs in a happy bit, a very soft bit, and it's as soft as you can put on them. He said to put a ring bit in her, it'll help to keep her straight as it keeps the bit very balanced in their mouth. She's not really able to catch hold of it when there is a ring on it. Some of them are running well, but he horses in the first were a bit disappointing. They found the soft ground a big change and we probably didn't have them prepared for soft ground. We were hoping to come here for fast ground and the preparation is usually a bit different when it's soft and we were probably a bit gentle on them. They'll probably improve a lot. Curragh Wed, 5th Jun, 2024  Tunbridge Wells We're delighted with him, he's a baby still. He'll go into the Ascot picture and if he doesn't go there he'll come back here for the Railway,. He'll have no problem staying further in time but he's green and babyish still.

Listowel Sun, 2nd Jun, 2024  The Liffey it was lovely to win this race run in memory of Pat Smullen, who was an unbelievable rider and unbelievable person. Aidan saw this race on the calendar and targeted The Liffey at it. It is a lovely memento to win a race run in Pat's memory. it was a good weekend and this horse won nicely on his only run at two (years old) last year. I think the heavy ground at Leopardstown last month caught him out. His ideal trip is between seven furlongs and a mile on quick ground and this race fit in nicely for him and was a nice confidence booster. He might now step back up into stakes company.

Listowel Sun, 2nd Jun, 2024  American Bar I wanted to go to the Curragh last week but didn't feel we were ready to start racing and that race came a bit soon for her. I was a bit nervous coming here with a debutante but the next fillies' maiden was here. When you miss the break here it is usually game over but she was able to overcome it. We haven't done loads with her but she has trained well all spring and I felt she was nice. She has learned a lot this week, jumped out of the stalls three times and I hope with that under her belt she is a good filly to go forwards. She is in the Airlie Stud Stakes on Derby weekend and I was hoping she'd do something like this today, with a view to going there.

Tipperary Tue, 28th May, 2024  Truly Enchanting Ryan was delighted with her. He said that she’d have no problem getting six and might even get seven and said she handled the ground well. She was green early but Ryan said they didn’t go mad early, so it gave her a chance to get it together first time. He was very happy with her, so that’s great. We’ll see how much she comes on. She was away before she came, but she’s a little bit laidback at home so she could come on plenty, so I’d say the Albany is a possibility.

Limerick Thu, 16th May, 2024  Sara Valentina she won nicely, is a beautifully bred filly and is from a family we know extremely well. She had a reasonable run in Leopardstown and put that experience to good use today. She was well beaten - finishing ninth, on her debut so was entitled to get into this race but equally this is a family which improves with age. hopefully she can progress through the year and we'll look for a conditions race for her somewhere in a few weeks' time. I think she'd like better ground although the ground isn't as bad as we thought it would be. Stiffer tests will await.

Cork Fri, 10th May, 2024  Cherry Blossom She had a high rating, had good runs at two and with today's conditions, and the track, everything worked out. She is a very quick filly, wants quick ground and five (furlongs). It is great to get the Listed win and with the sprint programme in Ireland being tricky , she might have to travel for Group 3s for fillies. It's onwards and upwards and that will be a nice confidence booster for her.
