The Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn into the straight involving Rehoboth Beach (USA), ridden by D
O'Brien, Small Town Boy, ridden by T.P. Madden, Triple Nickle, ridden by A.J. Slattery, and Cherryville, ridden by C.T. Keane, where it appeared Cherryville suffered interference on the outer. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards considered that the incident was caused by accidental interference and took no further action
