The Raceday Stewards granted a request from P.J. Rothwell, trainer of Wanda The Fish, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i)

Hayes, unplaced, and Princess Aurea, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed fourth, where it appeared there was a bump between the two horses. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that he got bumped for a stride. A.J. Slattery stated that as he struck his mount she made contact with Yaxchilan but felt he had corrected her immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
