Miss Lightfandango (GB) was late entering the Parade Ring due to the late rider change and collecting the saddle.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race when the winner, Global Tycoon (IRE), ridden by Daniel Muscutt interfered with Wilkie (GB), placed second, ridden by Dylan Hogan.
Having heard the evidence, the Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Global Tycoon (IRE) as although Wilkie (GB) had been taken slightly off its intended line, Hogan did not stop riding or lose any momentum and the distance lost was less than that of the ½ length margin at the line.
The interference was found to be accidental as Global Tycoon (IRE) had edged quickly right-handed before being swiftly corrected.
The Stewards therefore ordered the placings to remain unaltered.
On the bend turning into the home straight, the Stewards noted that David Probert, the rider of Pysanka (FR), was struck in the face by kickback rendering him unable to ride out to the line.
Following the race, Amie Waugh reported that Lochnaver (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run in the home straight.
