Bellewstown Fri, 5th Jul, 2024  Building Bridges He's a very clear-winded horse and, in fairness, the lads said they had him spot on and he was in good form at home. I wasn't really worried (about being off since February) once I heard that. . He jumped a tad slow and was flat out the first four furlongs. I wanted to ride him very forward and I had to sit and suffer a bit until we turned down the back. . Once I got a bit of daylight and kept him going forward a mile out, he started to pick up. Once I got to the front on him, he got comfortable and I was able to ride a race on him. . He's a grand horse and he's very straightforward. Obviously, he stays very well and goes on any ground. He's very genuine. . I wouldn't even mind where he goes in terms of track or ground. He just definitely wants a trip, and a staying track would suit him all the better. . We got the job done today so everyone is happy.
