I took the tongue-tie off today, he was still a bit slow away, but I think that might have helped. I'm delighted for Donal (Byrne), he's a new owner to the yard and it's great to have him. He's a west of Ireland man and hopefully he'll go to Galway, that'll be the plan. He might go to Ballinrobe at the end of next month and then on to Galway. The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.J. Murphy, rider of Cherry Pink, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D.J. Murphy was in breach of Regulation 10.3(b)(out of contention) and having considered his record (first offence), they suspended him for two racedays. D.J. C.J. MacRedmond, rider of What Adaay (GB), trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped forward after about two furlongs

Collins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
