The Stewards fined Thomas Mullins, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared head gear to Arctic Light (GB), prior to entering the parade ring
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Macs Legend, trained by Gerard Kelleher, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Celtic Dancer, ridden by C.P. McNamara, placed third, Arctic Light (GB), ridden by M.P. Walsh, placed first and Added Bonus, ridden by A. McCurtin, placed second, where it appeared that Celtic Dancer got tight for room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 80-102 Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 12st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbs Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won.
