Limerick Wed, 28th Dec, 2022  Tomjackwilliam We were confident, but he is a local horse so there was a lot of chat in the local village in the build-up, so thank God it came off!. He stays more than quickens, so we made more use of him today and it told on that ground. He will be a lovely horse and is the second winner we've had this week by Dylan Thomas and I knew he'd like the ground. Hopefully he will be lucky for the owners.

Thurles Sun, 18th Dec, 2022  Lizrona I live down the road in Kilsheelan and was in the army with the late Jack Griffin who was married to Trisha Molony (race sponsors and racecourse owners), so this is a lovely race to win with a lovely trophy too. She was running over 2m4f and just needed a trip. Sean said she was on her head early on and needed the trip. I don't know where she'll run next but the handicapper will probably destroy her! . My last winner was actually here (in 2017) and I only train two horses. I'm retired from the army and only train as a hobby but would like to get a few more horses. There are so many trainers around my area though, with so much choice.

Clonmel Thu, 8th Dec, 2022  Jody Ted I think we had the favourite (Henn See) beaten and I'm delighted he has won as he has done well to come back from injury. We thought he was a nice enough horse when he won two races a couple of years back. To be honest I was counting my chickens on his comeback run at Cork when he stumbled and fell a stride after the second-last fence. He was running a big race then when he was a bit in the jockey's hands and free early-on so I thought the drop to two-miles would suit. With his history of leg problems I'm not thinking too far ahead but we'll see what mark he gets and look for a rated novice.

Tramore Tue, 6th Dec, 2022  Wat Ua Doin She won in Wexford, was second in Punchestown and got injured then and was off for a long time. She ran in Navan the last day and was just a bit fresh and keen. We knew she'd come on well for it after not having run in so long. . We are delighted with that today and it's nice to see her come back and win after returning from injury. She is straightforward, she jumped well, travelled away and when he asked her to go, she had no problem in quickening up.  . She has plenty of ability and we will see what the handicapper gives her now. We might pick out something around Christmas for her. 

Gowran Park Sat, 26th Nov, 2022  Yabo she was due her turn and got a very intelligent ride. Her experience jumping helped in this ground. She is a low grade mare and we’ll go handicapping now. I was a little worried about the heavy ground first time out (since April) but she’s keen and does a lot at home. He gave her a lovely ride. It’s great for the owners Sis and Ned Power as Sis is not too well at the minute and we are all thinking of her.
