The Raceday Stewards considered a request from D.J. Bunyan, trainer of Jurality (GB), to nominate R.M. Mulligan to ride in this race owing to the difficulty he had in finding a suitable rider prior to the deadline due to the conditions of the race. Having considered the request, the Raceday Stewards allowed the rider nomination of R.M
Mulligan and took no further action
The Raceday Stewards informed Gavin Cromwell, trainer that Robbies Rock (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again
Adam Caffrey, rider of L'Un Deux Trois, trained by Oliver McKiernan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled out of the stalls
The Raceday Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Valleyoftheeagles, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g) and having taken his record (first offence) into account suspended him for three race days
