The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the bend after the winning line with a circuit to race involving Bridie's Beau, ridden by S. Fitzgerald, Chartwell's Lady, ridden by Partick M, O'Brien, One Horse Army, ridden by Dylan White and Scarlet Purse, ridden by S.D. Torrens, where it appeared Scarlet Purse stumbled after getting tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.D. Torrens stated that it got tight for a stride from both sides and he wasn't sure if he clipped a heel or took a false step. Patrick.M O'Brien stated that he maintained his racing line rounding the bend. Dylan White stated that he felt it was general bunching at the point of the bend. S. Fitzgerald stated that while he maneuvered off heels he felt it was general bunching as horses rounded the bend. Fitzgerald , was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday
