The Stewards interviewed A.C. Persse, rider of Cinnabar Reds, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that A.C. Persse was in breach of Regulation 10.3.(b) in that he had used his whip unnecessarily, after his chance of winning or being placed had clearly gone. Having taken his record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned him
The Stewards interviewed G.P. Halpin, rider of My Amazing One, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.
