The Stewards interviewed H.J. Horgan, rider of Grandmaster Flash, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that the first strike was corrective purposes as his mount was hanging. Having viewed the footage and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that the first strike was for corrective purposes and his remaining strikes did not breach the Regulation and therefore took no further action
The Stewards reviewed an incident in the straight involving Grandmaster Flash, ridden by H.J. Horgan and Zoom Tiger, ridden by Izzy Clifton, where it appeared Grandmaster Flash crossed Zoom Tiger. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
