Leopardstown Sun, 20th Oct, 2024  Arch Enemy I'm delighted and a bit in shock to be honest,. Fergal Harford that's involved with me, and does all the pre-training, has a share in her and he was keen to go for this race so I have to give most of the credit to him. . I thought she might be a little bit outclassed but he's been very keen to run her in a good race with a light weight. . She loves it here and has been second a couple of times this year. It's all worked out on the day. . Julian got some lovely splits and she was brave. Everyone that has rode her has said that she has the heart of a lion, she showed it there today. . It's massive for us to win a premier handicap with a small string, it means a lot.

Bellewstown Wed, 2nd Oct, 2024  Arch Enemy She ran very well on slow ground here as a two-year-old. I'd say the race just panned out lovely, they went a good gallop. I was watching them going down the back and they were going 32/33 the whole way down the back, so I kind of knew they were going to come back. That's what she loves. She has been running brilliant races probably in races that the pace wasn't collapsing in front. She takes a while to warm up, but she needs the pace to collapse in front of her. I ran her over 1m4f last year and she probably wasn't strong enough for it. She looks like she wants it now, she is after strengthening up. Listen, over hurdles I still think there is a good day in her. She's a great old mare and if I had a few more like her.

Galway Sat, 3rd Aug, 2024  Imposing Supreme It all went very smooth, which you don't always get around here but he had a good draw and it was a little drop in class having run well here on Tuesday. He absolutely loves it here and is a better horse here, and I can't think why. We were very worried about the ground but as he is getting older, is handling the easier ground better than he used to. Even though he is a big horse, he likes the tight tracks and we'll tip away now. Leonard Kinsella owns him on his own for the past year, he is with me from the start and is a great friend of mine.

Dundalk Fri, 12th Jul, 2024  Comfort Line I ran him last night and I suppose most people probably wouldn't run him back - he went to the beach this morning and he did half an hour there. He grubbed up last night and we just said we had nothing to lose. When he gets back into that grade, he's dangerous. He's probably after booking a ticket west as well!. He's solid out and he's a great fun horse. When he comes down to his mark, he wins. That's the good thing about horses like him. He's sound as a pound and solid. Keep them nice and sweet, and they are great. In all fairness, Adam was good on him. He's (Comfort Line) a lazy brat at home! You have to get after him, but he kept at it well. He gave him a good spin and knows the horse well. Delighted for the Dooley boys in England. They bought a new horse yesterday in England as well. They are a great supporter of the yard. Martin White is involved as well and he is a local guy. It is great for them.
