N.M. Crosse, rider of Cool As Ever trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount flipped over at the start before entering the starting stalls and never raced as a result of this incident
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cool As Ever, trained by James McAuley, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be sore post race once cooled down
