Quotes on Gesture (IRE)
He stays and further the better probably. He worked really well the other morning, so we were quite confident that he had improved enough to handle the 4lbs for winning the other day. He'll go to Leopardstown next in about three weeks, that's the plan for him - I don't like running horses on heavy ground. He's a progressive three-year-old over a trip and you don't know where they will stop. After Gesture (IRE) finished 1st at Dundalk on Fri, 12th Apr 2024 1m 2f Flat Hcap Standard

Quotes on Ameilya (GB)
She ran in Limerick last year and the ground was probably a little bit too quick for her. She got hurt after that and I left her alone as she’s a big raw filly. I always felt that she wanted a bit further. I said to Seamie to be sympathetic on her first run of the season and she came home well. I think she’s a filly that can get black type. After Ameilya (GB) finished 1st at Gowran Park on Wed, 24th Apr 2024 1m Flat Maiden Yielding

Quotes on Sli Na Ghealai (IRE)
She’s hardy and handles the ground. I had a couple in it and was going to run one of the others and Rory said to run her. I’d forgotten that she’d run well on soft ground at Tipperary. I don’t think she’ll run again at the Curragh on Wednesday but that could change! After Sli Na Ghealai (IRE) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Sat, 21st Oct 2023 7f Flat Hcap Heavy

Quotes on Gibbs Island (GB)
He did it well. He had to grind it out,. He's a full-brother to a good horse that Godolphin owns (Live Your Dream). I trained the half-brother Dream Tale so I know the family a bit. He had a nice run at Roscommon and we knew that stepping up in trip should be in his favour. He's a good mover so he's not dependent on ground. Billy said it was a tough performance. He's a horse that likes to keep going forward so about the three pole he just let him roll to let him get into the race. He stayed every yard of it, it was a likeable performance. I was just saying to Billy that we might look at the Eyrefield Stakes at the end of the year, it's nine furlongs at Leopardstown. We'll make a decision in the next week or two. After Gibbs Island (GB) finished 1st at Curragh on Sun, 24th Sep 2023 1m Flat Maiden Soft

Quotes on Slurricane (IRE)
He is a lovely horse, he got gelded last year and it was his first run in a handicap. He concentrated more today and while I was worried about the ground, Dusty (Foley) said he handled it fine. He had good runs in maidens last year, but probably trained off on his last run. He has improved and will want further. Dusty said they went very quick today and it fell into his lap, but we were using a jockey who is riding with so much confidence at the moment. I left tactics to him and at one stage he was five lengths last, but he is on fire. We have him riding work at the Curragh two or three days a week and that is making an awful difference. After Slurricane (IRE) finished 1st at Killarney on Tue, 14th May 2024 1m Flat Hcap Soft to Heavy

Quotes on Alabama Calling (IRE)
she had a few runs in handicaps and is getting progressively better. She is still quite raw and I don't know whether she liked that ground (soft to heavy) or not but I doubt it. She should progress away as the summer goes along. When the race came up, it looked tailor made for her and her mares' allowance brought her up to 71. She is very genuine, will be better on better ground and I wouldn't be stepping her up too much in distance. my whole yard is pretty much all MRC International (Dubai-based owners) now and they are all running really well. I have had a good few nice two-year-olds this year and some of last year's three-year-olds are nice as well. We have a good few runners over the next week or so and Jakajaro runs in the Group 3 Lacken Stakes on Sunday. He came out of his recent run in Ascot really well and while taking on Con's (Marnane, brother) Givemethebeatboys will be difficult, he is a pretty good horse. After Alabama Calling (IRE) finished 1st at Limerick on Thu, 16th May 2024 1m Flat Maiden Soft to Heavy
