Leopardstown Thu, 25th Jul, 2024  Hotazhell That was nice, he's a nice colt,. He quickened up well, they went a good old gallop the whole way. He's tough and he'll probably just have one more run this year. He had to do it the hard way because he had to go and catch the pacemaker and then go away from him. Shane was thinking the other horse would come to him and take him along but it didn't and he had to go and commit. He'll go a mile, probably even this year. I don't think we'll go to the National Stakes, I'd say we'll wait for something over a mile in September. We've got two nice milers and we'll keep them well apart!

Curragh Wed, 5th Jun, 2024  Hotazhell He's a lovely horse. He's probably growing a bit at the moment and he's not going to Ascot,. We'll take our time with him, he's in the Railway Stakes but that's only six furlongs. He's won over seven and if we are doing anything we'd go up. I know he's a Too Darn Hot but he finished off very strong. He's a really nice horse. He got away with that ground but probably wants it a little easier. Unless we went somewhere in France I'd almost sit and wait with him for the National Stakes, or something like that. He's a smashing horse. He's carrying the Pathfork colours, who was my first Group 1 winner.

Curragh Sun, 26th May, 2024  Fallen Angel I was pleased when the rain came to be fair. She just keeps galloping and stays very very well. She is very versatile ground wise and takes everything that comes in her stride. She showed last year that she’s top-class. Obviously we were disappointed with the Guineas, but I find it hard with three-year-olds — you just don’t know where you are with them. We sent her down to Newmarket fit and she didn’t blow that much afterwards. The ground maybe was a bit quick on the undulations, but that’s looking for excuses — we were beaten fair and square on the day. I knew coming out of the Guineas coming into this race that mentally she was in the right place. She just sparked up, especially in the last week or 10 days, and physically she looked fantastic.
