Roscommon Mon, 2nd Sep, 2024  Loch Tay I'm delighted with him. We gave him plenty of time after Gowran as he just kept growing on us, I think he's grown about two inches. He was only just ready to start back today and he did it nicely. I was very concerned about the ground and Shane said he absolutely hated it, but his class got him through. He's a big, strong horse and he's got some nice entries for (Irish) Champions Weekend. We'll just see how he comes out of this and see whether we take them up or not. He's very nice.

Leopardstown Thu, 18th Jul, 2024  Va Va Vroom She did it in good style, which was great and she's a lovely filly,. She's a fine big strong filly. I'm delighted with that. She's still learning on the job. We've got some nice entries, she's in the Debutante and has an entry in France. She's also got a Moyglare entry as well. Stepping up to a mile will be no problem to her.

Leopardstown Thu, 11th Jul, 2024  Giuseppe Cassioli It was a beautiful ride again by Keithen. He said that he wasn't trying very hard early on, but he got into it then. He said he parked the bus and when he heard the horses coming behind him he went on again. It's a lovely win and I'm delighted. He'll go to Galway on the Tuesday for a 50-80 over seven furlongs. It should suit him nicely. He's consistent, he's healthy, and he's keeping the weight on this year whereas in previous years it was hard to keep the weight on him for some reason.

Curragh Sat, 29th Jun, 2024  Apricot Ice You can see by the size of her she's still on the leg. We ran her in a Listed race at Leopardstown last year, that's what we thought of her. She's only going to get better with age. She's turned a wee corner there, she won her maiden and she's backed it up today. I'd say we only got away with it on the ground. She's all about top of the ground and, if the race was in two races time, I'd say we would have been in trouble. Colin still maintains that she'll get seven, but we'll keep doing this with the hope that she improves as a four-year-old. Obviously, the aim is that they grow into black-type fillies and I'd say that will happen at four.

Leopardstown Thu, 13th Jun, 2024  Giuseppe Cassioli He looked great and the sun brought out the lovely black colour in him, he had a lovely shine,' . They went hard, I think they were doing 11 seconds a furlong early on, and Keithen just sat and came through them nicely, he won snugly enough I suppose. The rain was very welcome, it made the seven furlongs achievable and maybe slowed it up a small bit. I'd say a mile is his optimum trip. I'm delighted to win here in Leopardstown tonight as my father Pa is dead 22 years today. I asked him for a little favour when I was saddling him up and thankfully he came through. He got us all involved in the horses and it's a pleasure to still be moving on with it. We were very busy with the business but now we've put a good management structure in and my brother Pat and I can step back a bit and enjoy it more.

Curragh Fri, 24th May, 2024  Apricot Ice She got the job done. We obviously thought a bit of her, and she's been letting us down, and I think we're between trips with her,. You can see that she's on the leg and whether it's immaturity or not. It took a good colt to beat her in Leopardstown but I didn't think we hit the line strong so I took the view that we'd come back here and have a punt at six on a proper track. We hoped that there were no sneaky ones in there that hadn't run. Colin said of what we knew of the ones that had run we should be winning. That's the maiden box ticked, we'll go home and let her mature now. I thought she parked but she got it done. Let's give her the benefit of the doubt that she's a little bit on the immature side but at the minute I'd have a question mark over her trip.
