Keane where it appeared these horses bumped. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Browne McMonagle stated that as they turned in he got pressure from his outside and snatched up. C.J. MacRedmond stated that as he quickens by Han Solo (GB) his horse rolls in and he loses his hind quarters but tried his best to keep straight. C.T. Keane stated that as they turned in a gap appeared and he quickened into it and it gets congested. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action
D. McMonagle, rider of Han Solo (GB), trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check two and a half furlongs out
M.W Hassett, rider of Spring Collection (GB), trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.
