The Stewards interviewed K.J. Manning, rider of Trossachs (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 2 race days
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Magnetic North, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, at the request of the Stewards and reported that this gelding had a fresh skin wound on the outside of his right fore cannon but was otherwise post race normal.
