The Stewards requested a report from Mrs John Harrington, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Jack Fiasco (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Ms. K. Harrington, authorised representative of the trainer, report that this horse is a big immature type and felt today's galloping track appeared to bring about the apparent improvement on form. The Stewards enquired into an incident the closing stages involving Bakmaj (FR), ridden by D.F. O'Regan placed third and Jack Fiasco (GB), ridden by R.M. Power placed first where it appeared that Bakmaj (FR) was checked in running. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
