The Stewards interviewed Vanessa Maye, rider of Out On Friday, trained by Philip M. Byrne, concerning her riding in the closing stages of this race where it appeared she stopped riding in the final 50 yards when racing for fourth place. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that while she accepted she stopped riding she felt she had obtained her best possible placing in any case. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Stewards found the rider in breach of Rule
