The Social Distancing Officer reported that they had observed a possible breach of the social distancing rules as they had seen Jimmy Frost enter the incorrect zone.
The Social Distancing Officer, Jimmy Frost and the General Manager of the Racecourse were interviewed.
It was found that Frost was found to have breached the social distancing Rules and was cautioned as to his further conduct.
Frost was also asked to re-familiarise themselves with the social distancing guidelines and reminded that these are in place to safeguard all who are present at the fixture.
Le Crunch (FR) wore earplugs throughout.
An enquiry was held into the running and riding of Good Bye (GER), ridden by Charlie Deutsch and trained by Milton Harris, which became detached from the main field after turning down the back stretch, before running on past horses after turning into the home straight, finishing sixth of ten runners, beaten by 14 ½ lengths.
The Rider and the Trainer were interviewed and shown recordings of the race and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Deutsch stated that his instructions had been to follow the leaders but that this had not been possible due to the very strong early pace which was played out by the films.
He added that Good Bye (GER) was not the best jumper and that he began niggling at the gelding shortly after setting out on the final circuit, continuing to do so for the remainder of the race.
Harris confirmed the instructions and stated that he was satisfied that the ride had accorded with those instructions.
He further added that having watched the films he would ideally have liked Good Bye (GER) to have been ridden closer to the pace, but accepted the jockeys explanation that he could not position the gelding any closer as a result of the strong early pace.
Their explanations were noted.
An enquiry was held to consider interference after jumping the last flight involving Talk Of Fame (GB), placed second, ridden by David Bass and the winner The Eagle's Nest (IRE), ridden by Michael Nolan.
Nolan was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his horse to drift right-handed, without sufficient correction, causing slight interference to Talk Of Fame (GB) on his inside.
