An enquiry was held to consider interference 2 furlongs out when the winner Dragons Will Rise (IRE), ridden by Robert Havlin, interfered with Going Underground (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Joanna Mason.
Havlin was cautioned for careless riding as he had maneuvered right when insufficiently clear, causing Going Underground (GB) to be checked slightly.
Following the race, Jack Mitchell reported that Starfighter (GB), placed sixth, was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
