He'll go out in trip I'd say, maybe to three miles. He was just gawky when he got to the front and was just idling. Paul had to get after him to get up the straight but that's twice he's won around Naas and it's always a good sign when you can win on this track. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kansas City Star, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
D.N. Russell, rider of Kansas City Star, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly
K.M. Donoghue, rider of House Of Glory, trained by Edward Cawley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident turning for home involving Kansas City Star, ridden by D.N. Russell, pulled up, and Sam Magee, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed fifth, where it appeared there was slight contact made on the home bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
