She was always a bit buzzy and keen but she’s relaxed more at home and is finishing her races real well now. She jumps hurdles well but was in season the last day in Cork and never showed up. We’ll probably mix and match it with her and hopefully we can go back and win a hurdle with her. We’ll probably look for a bit of black type as well. She loves that ground and also loves it here. The Raceday Stewards informed Mrs John Harrington, trainer that Mellow Magic (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again
M.A. Enright, rider of Almuhit, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls
R.L. Moore, rider of Newfoundland, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not get a clear run during this race
Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Mr Rango, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that she had to check her mount inside the final two furlongs
Brendan W.Duke, trainer of Bold Approach, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was struck into on his near hind during this race. This was confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer at the request of the Raceday Stewards
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident about two furlongs from the finish involving Bradesco, ridden by N.M. Crosse, Bold Approach, ridden by R.P. Cleary, and Morph Speed, ridden by M.P. Sheehy where it appeared that Bold Approach met with some interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, R.P. Cleary stated that his mount was not travelling well into the straight when the field of runners came around him and he got a bump from the horse beside him. N.M. Crosse stated that his mount got flat footed in the straight when the field of runners came around him. M.P. Sheehy stated that he was riding on the outside of Bold Approach and felt that he had kept a straight racing line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and they took no further action
