At the request of the Stewards, C.P. Hoban, rider of Lexington Dash (FR), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was stuck behind a wall of horses and he had nowhere to go
The Stewards interviewed C.P. Hoban, rider, in relation to Rule 213 where he failed to give a report following an incident early in the straight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who apologised for failing to make a report. Having considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that C.P. Hoban was in breach of Rule 213 and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.
