Approaching the final furlong, Viola (IRE), placed third, edged quickly right-handed giving the weakening Mukaddamah (GB), placed fifth, a slight bump, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Viola (IRE).
