Permission was given for both Harlington (FR) and Lennon (FR) to wear red hoods to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference 1 furlong after the start, involving Rayena (FR), unplaced, ridden by Miss Lois Teal and Harlington (FR), unplaced, ridden by Miss Leanne Ferguson.
Miss Teal was suspended for 2 days for careless riding, on dates to be notified to her by the head office of the British Horse Racing Authority, as she allowed her mount to drift left-handed when insufficiently clear of Harlington (FR) causing Ferguson to take a check when tightened for room.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final furlong, involving the winner, Visibility (IRE), ridden by Mr Frederick Tett and Unplugged (IRE), placed second, ridden by Miss Serena Brotherton.
The stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Visibility (IRE), as Unplugged (IRE) appeared to lose no momentum as a result, to be beaten a comfortable and extending neck margin at the line and the Stewards, therefore, ordered the placings to remain unaltered.
The interference was found to be accidental as Visibility (IRE) shifted quickly right- handed away from the whip, at the same time as Unplugged (IRE) lugged slightly left-handed causing the runners to come together and lightly bump.
Following the race, Mr Eireann Cagney reported that Life On The Rocks (IRE), placed third, ran too free.
