She tries which is a big thing with a horse. When you have a horse that tries, you have a big chance with one. Good ground and the stiff finish definitely helped as well. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rightfolksplease, trained by Paul W. Flynn, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards interviewed T. Joseph Kelly, rider of Tipp For Mac, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that T. Joseph Kelly was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and 10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence under Regulation ten), they suspended him for five racedays.
