The Stewards enquired into an incident after the home turn involving Weseekhimhere, ridden by Mr J.J. Codd and Birthday Bayeb, ridden by Mr B. O'Neill, where it appeared that Weseekhimhere got tight for room and checked
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted an admission from Mr. J.J. Codd that his own mount caused the incident and they therefore took no further action
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hardwired, trained by T.M. Walsh, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
Mr J.J. Codd, rider of Weseekhimhere trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got stopped badly 3 furlongs from home
